The Australasian Hydrographic Society (AHS) is pleased to announce that its internationally recognised hydrographic conference program will return in 2026. The Hydrospatial 2026 Conference will be held Monday 23 - Thursday 26 March 2026, at Shed 6 in Wellington, New Zealand. 

The AHS welcomes hydrographic and related professionals plus anyone interested in our changing world to the Hydrospatial 2026 Conference: 'Shaping the Future of Marine Exploration’.

Privacy Policy

Australia operates under the Privacy Amendment Act 2012 with significant changes in March 2014. The AHS complies with such legislation which is designed to protect the rights of the individual to privacy of their information. Information collected in respect of proposed participation in any aspect of the event will be only used for the purposes of planning and conduct of the event. It is also usual to produce a ‘Delegate list’ of attendees at the event and to include the following details; your name, position title, company and state. While your personal contact details such as email address and phone number will not be published.

Registration Type

Conference Registration: includes entry to all sessions and trade exhibition, name badge, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea each day and both a ticket to the Welcome Function and Conference Dinner.

Member Registration is available to AHS/GCA/S+SNZ/IFHS Members.

Student Registration is available to students enrolled in a recognised tertiary institution - not in fulltime employment AND Retired Registration is available to retired AHS/GCA/S+SNZ/IFHS members.

The Government Rate is available to Federal, State and Government Agencies. In the New Zealand context this includes employees of all central government agencies, local government, crown-owned entities, schools and tertiary institutions.

Welcome Reception

A ticket to attend the Welcome Reception is included in your registration fee. Additional tickets for guests are available for purchase.

The Welcome Reception will be held amongst the trade exhibition, at Shed 6 on Monday 23 March, from 5-7pm.

Accommodation

Accommodation has been reserved for conference delegates at the hotels listed below from 21 - 28 March, if you would like to extend your stay outside these dates, please email HYDRO@con-sol.com and we will contact the hotel on your behalf.
