We have been building for years at the State level, with this year seeing much momentum at the Federal level fighting for our industry and working with the Federal Government to bring our industry into the spotlight in full focus.
Ahead of the Federal Election our industry has the ear of Government and as such, Civil Contractors Federation Australia in conjunction with our State CCF Branches is pleased to announce the return of the CCF Australian Infrastructure Summit scheduled with the National Earth Awards in Canberra, Australia from 21-22 November 2024.
Coming together ahead of the Federal election our Summit brings our industry to the national capital for our CCF Contractor and Association Members to engage with government, stakeholders and decision makers to reprioritise and focus the country on the role of civil infrastructure as the missing link. Its also time to celebrate and be proud of what we are as an industry in sharing our best practice in our day conference and to come together for the 2024 National Earth Awards.
The theme for the 2024 CCF Australian Infrastructure Summit is Keeping it Civil - CCF Members Connecting, Collaborating and Constructing Great Australian Communities. This theme invites participants that play a deep role that civil (roads, highways, subdivisions, bridges, rail, electricity generation/transmission, pipeline, water, sewerage) plays and helps us substantiate to our nation’s decision makers through to everyday Australians that our Industry plays in constructing communities.
The Summit will commence on the Thursday with focused workshops and Site Visits offered for Members (with numbers limited). With our industry gathering at the National Museum of Australia for the Welcome Cocktail Reception event on the Thursday evening.
Then, Friday will kick off with a Future of Civil Outlook Breakfast, followed by the full day conference agenda, networking lunch, a Trade Show, afternoon program as well as the National CCF Earth Awards Dinner.
The CCF National Earth Awards are the most prestigious awards in civil infrastructure with the specific aim of recognising excellence in civil construction. The awards showcase a range of projects across various disciplines including roads, bridges, drainage, rail and utilities. Winners of the State and Territory CCF Earth Awards progress to the CCF National Earth Awards, so the National Earth Awards are effectively recognising the ‘best of the best’ civil construction projects around the country.
The QT Canberra is within a short walk to dining and shopping precincts and is easily accessible by public transport to the National attractions including Questacon, National Gallery, and War Memorial.
